Where do I start? As someone who loves reading, I keep a list of books I want to read on my phone. I add books to the list based on reviews and personal recommendations. If I’m in a bookshop, I might see a book that catches my eye. When I travel, I prefer to read books on an electronic reader, which leads to more suggestions based on my previous reading choices.
My current reading list has reduced slightly, thanks to Christmas!
- None of this is true – Lisa Jewell
- Yellowface – Rebecca F. Kuang
- Berserker – Adrian Edmondson
- Went to London ,Took the Dog – Nina Stibbe
- Girl, Woman, Other – Bernadine Evaristo
- The Favour – Nicci French
- Broken Light – Joanne Harris
- The Running Grave – Robert Galbraith
- My Sister, the Serial Killer – Oyinkan Braithwaite
- Kate Atkinson – Normal Rules Don’t Apply
Please let me know if you have any suggestions for books to add to my list. Thanks!
Stunning novel about the last days of Ceausescu…..Patrick McGuinness ‘The Last Hundred Days’.
James Craig’s ‘Inspector Carlyle’ series is well written throughout.

Thank you for your list! I’m always looking for new books to read. I am leaving you with a list of books I have already read and found fascinating, funny, entertaining, or thrilling — both fiction and NF. It is a very eclectic list, so beware.
The Maid — Nita Prose
The Expats / Two Nights in Lisbon — Chris Pavone
Garlic and Saphires / Save Me the Plums – Ruth Reichl
Lessons in Chemistry – Bonnie Garmus
The Puma Years – Laura Coleman
Voluntourist – Ken Bud
Maybe You Should Talk to Someone – Lori Gottlieb
The Hairdresser of Harare – Tenda Huchu
No 1. Ladies’ Detective Agency Series — Alexander McCall Smith
The Crinkle Crankle Wall – Sabina Ostrowska
Hope you find something here to your liking.
