I think as I’ve grown older, I have fewer fears or perhaps the fears that I had have changed,
For a long time, I had a fear of flying, linked possibly to my fear of heights. However, as a travel lover, I had to make myself step aboard the plane. I didn’t want my sons to be fearful like me, and I didn’t want to deny them – or myself – the opportunities to experience new countries and cultures.
I am still have preflight nerves, but read on if you want to know if I have conquered this fear…
Today is my final Bloganuary post. Sincere thanks to those of you who have stuck with me and have read, liked or commented on any of the thirty-one posts. You deserve a medal!

Hi! Love your post! It is a topic that we need to tackle more. So many people would love to travel but the fear of the unknown, or of traveling by plane develops into a kind of stress and anxiety. I’m sure you will like this post that I have written some time back on this very topic 🙂 https://travelsavvywanderer.com/2023/12/22/travel-anxiety-tips/
