Or ‘If I were not on the lead, I’d jump in the canal…’ He is actually sitting on the trunk of a recently felled plane tree by the Canal du Midi. The plane trees are old but sick, sadly.

What a shame about the trees…are they replanting, do you know?

It is, and I intend to write about the trees and what is happening to them, as well as why. There is a huge replanting initiative but with different types of trees.

That’s a great suggestion! Zeph is sitting on a severed plane tree trunk by the Cabal du Midi. Most of the trees in the area are suffering from a disease, which is why they have to be cut down. I’ll write a post about this soon. Thank you for your comment!
