What is my mission? Do I even have a mission? What is a mission anyway?
I know it’s annoying when people answer a question with a question or, worse still, more than one question. But I’m finding with this year’s prompts that this is happening – to me, at least – more and more.
Only one thing to do, head for the dictionary and find the definition of ‘mission’. If you go to the Collins English Dictionary and search ‘mission’ in British English (!) you will find 13 definitions. This is one of them: ‘a person’s vocation’.
As a teacher, my mission was not only to educate and enlighten, but also to have some fun along the way. I know some of my students carried on studying French, as well as other languages, so perhaps in some way, I did complete my mission.
When rushing around the supermarket, trying to complete the food shop as quickly as possible, I have been described as a “woman on a mission”!
Now, I’m on a mission to complete Bloganuary in the short-term and in the long-term to lead a healthy and happy life. Hopefully not ‘Mission Impossible’!

You made me think about my mission and I realized that today I don’t have any….sad….😀 However, it’s a very good question to ask ourselves. There are moments when my mission greatly inspires me.

I’m sure that sometimes it’s a positive to be ‘mission-less’, Angela! Thanks for dropping by 😉
