The answer to this question is very short and simple.
I have learnt recently that if I put my mind to it, I can blog every single day for twenty-nine days. Yes, the end of the Bloganuary challenge is in sight, with only two days to go, and I haven’t missed a day – yet!
The challenge has taught me that I can respond to daily prompts, even if I have gone ‘off-piste’ occasionally. These prompts have also encouraged me to write in a different style, sometimes out of my comfort zone.
I love writing my blog but I lack the discipline (and the time!) to write every day. I’ll be interested to see if what I have learnt from undertaking the Bloganuary challenge will impact on my ‘FancyingFrance‘ blog.

That’s very kind of you to say, Mike. I’m sure you could do it, but knowing the depth and detail that go into your posts, I suspect it would mean a change of style. I’ve enjoyed Bloganuary but I’m also looking forward to ‘normal service being resumed!

Challenges like this are always nice at showing you what you can do. I didn’t blog everyday, but the fact that I have done so much, I surprised myself.

This is the first time I’ve attempted this type of challenge but I’ve enjoyed the experience. Happy Blogging!
