There is a difference between an ideal home and a dream home. An ideal home needs to be practical, while a dream home has an element of fantasy. My dream home would be on the coast, with sea views. The beach would be within walking distance, but the house wouldn’t be overlooked. It wouldn’t need to be a massive property, but it would need to be filled with light.
The living area would be open-plan with wooden floors. The house would be on one level with a wrap-around garden. There would be a study, three bedrooms and a snug. Plenty of storage and a utility room would be useful too! The garden would have room for a cabin, studio or summer house.
Of course, a dream home would have to accommodate family, friends and Zeph, our dog. After all, even a dream home needs a heart!
