Exactly! The Canal du Midi is normally very well maintained so I was surprised to see this. The story goes that the boat belonged to an elderly man who died, sadly. He was estranged from his family who are refusing to pay for the boat’s removal. Not sure if that’s actually true or a rumour! Thanks for commenting, Marion!
