I’m talking specifically about challenges on BlueSky. I’m a recent convert to this fun and inclusive platform, unlike others I won’t mention!
I was intrigued by this recent BlueSky challenge:
‘Choose 20 books that have stayed with you or influenced you. One book per day for 20 days, in no particular order. No explanations, no reviews, just covers!’
This challenge coincided with me writing a daily post using the WordPress prompt. I only managed 10 days of book covers! In no particular order, here they are:

Yes, Bluesky is an excellent place for challenges, June. I like that they are varied and cover lots of topics. I’ve had fun with the photography, music, and movie challenges.
But what I like about Bluesky the most is the community. Plenty of engagement is available, and those who engage with one another seem to get all of the benefits that Bluesky brings.
Thank you so much for including links to some of my recent posts. That is very kind of you.

I’m beginning to get to grips with BlueSky, I like to think! I found your posts very useful and I’m sure my readers will do too.

That’s great, June.
I noticed that you don’t have the Bluesky sharing button at the end of your posts. I recommend adding one so that other Bluesky users can share your posts.

Thank you so much for pointing that out, Hugh. I hadn’t noticed the omission and, in my head, I had added the sharing button after reading your post explaining how to do this! I’ve added the BlueSky sharing button now ๐

Yes, I do like a challenge, especially 30-day ones. I recently signed up for Bluesky, but I didnโt know about the photo challenge – it looks fun! Thanks for sharing, June.

Nice list. I’ve read 6 of your 10.

Thanks, Carol. Glad you liked the list. I’m an avid reader so it was quite difficult to narrow my choices to six!

Yeah. That would be a very difficult exercise. I gave it a few minutes thought and gave up.

I am interested in bluesky – is it similar to Twitter, but better or instagram?
Several of your books resonated with my earlier life – Brave New World, Animal Farm and C S Lewis’s book all belong to my teenager and younger years.

Hi. BlueSky is similar to Twitter – as it was in the beginning – but better imho. I don’t like direction Twitter has taken. I think BlueSky is a friendlier space.
I’m glad several of my books resonated with you and thanks for your comment.
