I’m not going to write about changing laws. Given the current state of the world, I wouldn’t even know where to start. Does the question refer to the country in which we vote? I don’t know, but my blog is my happy place, and I intend to keep it that way.
If I had the power to change anything, I would bestow the quality of kindness on everybody. Empathy is another attribute that is disappearing. During and immediately after the Covid epidemic, people generally seemed kinder to each other, more caring and compassionate. At least, that is the impression I had.
Now, however, many people appear to be angrier, more aggressive, negative and impatient. Of course, many individuals are still kind – in the broadest sense. Kindness still exists.
To finish I found some inspiring quotes about kindness:
“Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a harder battle.” – Plato
“No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.” – Aesop
“Kindness is a gift everyone can afford to give.” – Unknown
