My snack would be a juicy fresh apple, probably a Pink Lady.
I imagine friends who read this blog will be rolling their eyes at this healthy suggestion! This is because they know I love biscuits. On occasions, although not recently, I have been known to polish off a whole pack of certain types of biscuits.
However, I can’t eat a biscuit without a cup of tea or coffee. I wouldn’t dream of reaching for the biscuit tin, grabbing a biscuit, and devouring it without my beverage of choice. Never!
Whereas an apple requires no accompaniment. This fruit is totally delicious on its own.

I also love (dark) chocolate but preferably eaten with a cup of strong, black coffee!

You´ve made me long for a Beauty of Bath apple. They were the first to fruit in the garden of a friend of my parents and as kids we would be eating them straight from the tree.

I’m afraid I hadn’t heard of a Beauty of Bath apple, but I’ve researched them now and will seek one out to taste! Such a lovely memory of eating apples straight from the tree. I remember the first time I tasted a strawberry, picked from the plant. It was so sweet and delicious!

I hadn’t thought about it but it’s so true. I’m fond of both fruit and biscuits but not necessarily at the same time!

Your comment made me smile, Marion and I agree! Perhaps a snack lunch of cheese, crackers, and an apple might work!
