Visited a fab café, on the south coast, called ‘Le petit prince’. If you are ever in Westbourne, near Bournemouth, I can highly recommend a visit. It is actually a boulangerie as well, with bread made on the premises. I even got to speak some French!
Le français est partout!

I have that book too–and the date book! While I realize that French women have an incredible sense of style, I do make it a point to tell my female friends, when visiting Paris for the first time, not to be intimidated. Many women in Paris and throughout France, dress pretty casually and some aren’t stylish at all. I will say though that the quality of clothing and accessories sold in France is stellar!
I’m fortunate to be in France each year during the solders! That means an annual Repetto purchase and a trip to Sophie Sacs for my beloved Nat & Nin bags. When we head to St. Tropez to visit Bonaparte’s dad, I head over to Rondini for sandals. Can’t wait till next summer!

I haven’t made it to France – yet – this year! I have serious withdrawal symptoms. I’ll have to check out some of the brands you mention. Thanks for your comments.
