When I first started writing this blog it was purely for me! However, I have made contact with so many interesting people (you know who you are!) discovered so many fascinating blogs and I have also learnt a great deal along the way.
This particular topic was inspired by a post written by Jill Barth which is entitled ‘what I really think about rosé’. Jill writes very eloquently of her feelings about rosé. Here’s the link if you would like to read it too:

This made me think about my own relationship with rosé wine.
For me it is a drink I associate with the summer, sunshine and warmth. I would never indulge in a glass in the depths of winter or when it is freezing cold! I have very happy memories of hours spent people watching, outside cafés in different places in France, with a chilled glass of rosé in hand. Bliss!
This subject has led me to do some research! Rosé is now a status symbol – apparently! And, it is no longer viewed as a ‘Girly’ drink (!) Men are now drinking pink wine too! Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt even produce a rosé wine from their French vineyard.
If you want to find out more about rosé wine, you might be interested in having a look at this clip:
Do you enjoy a glass – or two -of rosé? If you do, is there any particular reason why? Or is there another drink that symbolises summer for you? I’d really love to know…
Merci! And cheers!
Rosé is such a wonderful summer refreshment.
