I have been intending to write this post for some time and the arrival of sunshine and warmer days has prompted me to do so. I adore French pâtisseries, probably too much! But how does one choose when there are so many delightful possibilities? For me, it’s always ‘les tartes ‘ – lemon, chocolate, mixed fruits … So many to try.
But what is the definition of a tart? According to the Cambridge Online Dictionary, it is ‘an open pastry case with a filling, usually of something sweet such as fruit.’
